1975 Founding of the company by H. G. Kessler
Creation of the famous NEOPOR® trademark and of the abbreviation "CLC" for Cellular Lightweight Concrete.
1976 Presentation of comprehensive test results by independent Building Materiual research Institutes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland evidencing mechanical and pohysical properties of CLC and its behaviour under different stresses. (see extract of tests available)
1978 Introducing CLC to the export market. First major project undertaken by subsidiary of mighty Arab Contractors, involving facades for 7.000 apartments in Nasr City, Egypt (see photographs).
1979 Exclusive arrangement with PUTZMEISTER on joint development and the manufacture of CLC-specific equipment and plants.

Development of the use of expanded clay (for LECA, Sweden who patented this Development then )in a matrix of CLC resulting in a multiple strength increase of CLC prioduced this way.

Starting of development of a foamed insulation board (100% mineral-based) with comparable low thermal insulatioto EPS. Today produced by a number of manufacturers and used in place of polystyrene. - Non-flammable, evironmentally sound.

1981

Simultane start-off of major housing projects in CLC in Algeria, Brasil, Egypt, Iraq and Tunesia. Involving tens of thousand of houses, schools (Iraq) and others. Major German construction company ZUBLIN AG in joint venture with Ministry of Schools in Iraq, built totally 16 agricultural schools in prefab of CLC.

1982

License aggrement for the production of NEOPOR® equipment and foaming agent in Brasil by NEOPOR® do Brasil.

Installation of fieldplants for prefab production, designd by NEOPOR®'s staff for different housing projects world-wide. First plant set up in Singapore by Lee kim Tah and under the approval of HDB

1990

Introducing industrial methods of producing blocks of CLC, which are updated and upgraded steadily. Marketing of the reknown and fast NEOPOR® comb-type of mould system allowing short assembly and stripping.

1991

Perestroika and Glasnost opened the Russian market. NEOPOR® signed a license agreement to produce both, foaming agent and equipment in Kazahstan for the former USSR market. Compoanies like Gazprom installed equipment and produced CLC.

Development of system and plant to produce hollow-core panels and slabs in CLC.

1999

1999 Oliver Kessler (MBA) joins the company and is today Technical Director and Shareholder.

2004

Installing the first plant to fully automatically production of wire-cutted blocks of CLC.

2005

ISO 9001 : 2000ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION - REFERENCE NO. GM1256

2006

NEOPOR® nominates first distributor for CLC in the US with permanent sample house in flood-stricken New Orleans
